　　匆匆吃完早飯后，我大步流星地走進了演講大廳。一位著名的教師正在對學生們講話。他手舉一張一百美元的鈔票，對三百個學生說，“誰想要這張一百元的鈔票？”學生們立即舉手。接著他說，“我會把這張一百元的鈔票給你們其中的一位，但首先我要做件事。”他將鈔票捏成一團，問，“現在誰還想要？”所有的手又舉了起來。然后他說，“那么，如果我這樣做呢？”他將鈔票扔在地上，并在上面踩了幾腳。他撿起臟兮兮的鈔票，問，“仍然有人要嗎？”所有的手又舉向了空中。

　　“朋友們，”他說，“今天你們學到了很有價值的一課。無論我對這一百元鈔票做了什么，你們仍然要它，因為它并沒有貶值，它仍然值一百美元。生活中，不止一次，我們會被扔，甚至被踩，這時我們會感到自己毫無價值。但是請你記住，無論什么發生在你身上，你永遠不會失去你的價值。對于那些愛你的人來說，你一直是有價值的。你的'價值并非來自你是做什么的或者你認識誰，而是來自你是誰。你是特別的、有價值的，永遠不要忘記這一點！”

　　幾年前，我住在一個小鎮的一幢建筑物中。對面有另一幢建筑物，離我住的地方只有幾米遠。那里住著一個我以前從未見過的女人。每天下午我都能見到她坐在窗戶邊，喝茶或者看書。

　　幾個月后，我發現她的窗戶太臟了，通過她家窗戶看到的一切都很模糊。我不知道那個女人為什么不把窗戶洗洗。

　　一個陽光燦爛的上午，我決定徹底清理一下我的公寓，包括清洗窗戶。我一直忙到下午很遲才完成，然后，我坐在窗邊小憩。多么令人驚訝啊！那個坐在窗戶邊的女人一下子變得清晰了！她的窗戶是干凈的`！突然，我意識到我犯了一個錯誤。原來我一直在通過自家的臟窗戶看她！

　　那對我來說是一個很重要的教訓。從那以后，無論我什么時候想要判斷一個人，我首先問問自己，“我看他時，我心靈之窗是否骯臟？”然后，我努力洗凈我內心世界的窗戶，只有這樣我才能看清外面的世界。

　　We are the world ,we are the future someone said we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite. i dont know who wrote these words, but ive always liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything we want it to be. We are all in the position of the farmers. If we plant a good seed ,we reap a good harvest. f we plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at all. We are young. how to spend the youth? It is a meaningful question. to answer it, first i have to ask what do you understand by the word youth? Youth is not a time of life, its a state of mind. its not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips or supple knees. Its the matter of the will. its the freshness of the deep spring of life. A poet said to see a world in a grain of sand, and a heaven in a wild flower, hold infinity in the palm of your hand, and eternity in an hour. several days ago, i had a chance to listen to a lecture. i learnt a lot there. I d like to share it with all of you. Let's show our right palms. We can see three lines that show how our er and life is. I have a short line of life. What about yours? I wondered whether we could see our future in this way. Well, lets make a fist. where is our future? Where is our love, career, and life? Tell , it is in our hands. It is held in ourselves. we all want the future to be better than the past. But the future can go better itself. Don't cry because it is over, smile because .

　　It happened from the past, weve learnt that the life is tough, but we are tougher. Weve learnt that we cant choose how we feel, but we can choose what about it. Failure doesnt mean you dont have it, it does mean you should do it in a different way. Failure doesnt mean you should give up, it does mean you must try harder. As what i said at the beginning, we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite. The past has gone. nothing we do will change it. But the future is in front of us. Believe that what we give to the world, the world will give to us. And from today on, lets be the owners of ourselves, and speak out we are the world, we are the future.
